In Backyard Burner play as an esteemed firefighter tasked with burning portions of the bush. This game is loosely based on 'controlled burning', the land management practice of intentionally setting fire to parts of the land. 

In each job there will be a highlighted section of the land. Make sure to only set fire to bushes within that section. But be careful as this fire can spread. Keep an eye on the wind and fire ratings to help predict the spread of fire. If you see a plant turn orange, it is about to burn in flames. You may extinguish any plants that are in this stage, preventing the fire from spreading. Earn reputation points by accurately burning parts of the land. Lose points for every tree burnt outside of the marked zone, and also for any tree left alive inside of the marked zone.

Finally, please take your safety seriously! Spending too much time near the flames will cause you to lose health, and potentially ... DIE !
